About Diana

Background

My name is Diana Moore. I spent my childhood years in Hong Kong, studied in England for college majoring in computer science, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in my early 20s for business school. I've called the Bay Area home ever since.

Why I Became a Therapist

I began my career in business and tech before transitioning to therapy, driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful impact on the deepest, most important aspects of people’s lives.

I want to help people find healing and growth, and help them live their best lives emotionally, relationally and spiritually.

I have been fascinated by the human psyche since childhood, and I’m driven by a passion for helping people repair what feels broken and build a more fulfilling life.

My Christian faith fuels my commitment to compassion, restoration, and hope, but I welcome clients from all backgrounds.

My Approach to Therapy

I take an active, problem-solving approach to therapy, always focused on helping my clients get better and make real progress. While listening is an essential part of what I do, it’s just the first step—I go far beyond that to help clients uncover the deeper roots of their challenges and find effective paths forward. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term healing and transformation.

Therapy with me requires commitment and emotional effort. While much of the work happens in-session, at times I may incorporate homework when it's beneficial to the process. My clients often describe therapy with me as fascinating, challenging, and deeply rewarding—an investment of time, energy, and resources that leads to meaningful, lasting change.

What I Like to Do for Fun

In my younger years, I traveled often and explored different parts of the world. These days, I find joy in spending quality time with my kids—taking them to the zoo and the museums, baseball, hockey, skiing, and simply enjoying time with friends. I love activities that bring fun, connection, and adventure into our lives.

A Quote I find inspiring

The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat. - Lily Tomlin
